This is flippin’ genius. Seriously! I could watch it over and over again. And you know what? I had no idea that that’s how you pronounced “aunt”! None! I’m proud to be your durl friend, Beckums!
Oh my god…..I love you….dying here……SOOOO funny, so smart, so talented,……book trailer brilliant.
And I love that you did in fact use “FABRIZIO”
I can,t wait, When ?
by the way I really do check blobby’s blog everyday.
Why is Kate black & blue? Did her husband beat her? I bet he did. You know the stressful life of doctors. You think Franklin could have given her make-up tips to cover up that nasty bruise.
Did you spend more time on the video than the novel? I’m just axing.
Or is this all a ploy to get your editors attention? It should work.
BTW – Tom Petty wants $50 for the use of the song. George Michael too!
What a great idea. I’m going to get to work on my new book too, just so I can come up with a neat trailer! And yes I’m gonna buy the book — sounds dishy and fun.
Since I lived in Wadsworth for several years, and a good friend of mine was a classmate of yours (Georgia T), I must get your book. Plus I lived next to Wadsworth High for a year or so, and worked at PCA in Rittman where we made paperboard stock for matches!!
Totally genius, I love it. The dolls and animation and editing and all that are great, but truly, the voice over is the most perfect part! I really can’t wait to read it, if it’s half as fun as this trailer, this is gonna go big. Fingers crossed. Brilliant!
Ahhh, the eternal, albeit, 7 day blue tip flame. I can see it all now….. the late model corvettes shuffling all the hopeful pageant queens down Broad St. in the Blue tip parade. The Shriners on their motor scooters and firetrucks sounding off sirens at uncomfortable decibel level. It hurts to think about it! It was just last year, Becca, and I was thinking that someone needs to chronicle this god awful pageant thing. It really is surreal. I can’t wait to read your masterpiece. Best Wishes to you and family. Jilla
What a hoot! My daughter and I watched it twice~hysterical and brilliant. Can’t
wait to read it~loved and enjoyed “Nice to Come Home To”. Your amazing…….
Loved the trailer! I just finished “Nice to Come Home To” & adored the characters. You go girl!
It’s too bad they don’t do the pageant anymore … it was a small town staple. No more contestants in the back of convertibles No more girls walking around the festival with sashes
Oh don’t ya know the Blue-Tip Festival is the reason I moved my family back to Wadsworth. As a “non” Miss Wadsworth contestant I was SO hoping for my daughters to get a chance at the coveted crown! I’ve heard great things about “Nice to Come Home To”. Ordering it today. Glad to see your success Becky! I’ve got a feeling that the parade committee may come calling. You’d make a fabulous grand marshal and even get to light the Blue Tip Match!!!
Rachel do you really think so??? I thought at first you were going to say they’d make me an honorary Miss Wadsworth. But I guess I’ll take the torch lighting!
